Biography
With her formidable skills as a member of one of South Africa’s leading litigation teams and her experience in matrimonial and family law, Kira offers an exceptional combination of services for clients across all sectors. She has been involved in a number of high profile, multi-faceted matters and her expertise in litigation includes general civil and commercial litigation, contractual and delictual disputes, corporate disputes, landlord and tenant disputes interdicts, debt collection and arbitrations.
Whilst matrimonial and family law requires a different skill set to litigation, Kira finds no difficulty in successfully applying herself to both. Her expertise in this practice area includes maintenance applications, opposed and unopposed divorces (local and international), mediations, Rule 43 applications, cohabitation agreements and parenting plans.
Kira obtained her B.A. and LL.B. (with distinction) degrees at the University of the Witwatersrand, was registered on the Dean’s List and inducted into the Golden Key Society.
